Keepers’ Tree PlantingĀ on saving the environment

In the Club’s commitment on saving the environment, The Keepers Club International collaborated with different Non-Government Organizations such as the Sonshine Philippines Movement, DZAR 1026 Sonshine Radio Manila ans the Philippine Army to conduct a Tree Planting Activity in Angono, Rizal. This is to the effort of mitigate the harmful effects of deforestation, especially in the Metropolis. Hand-in-hand, they picked up their plows and put the gloves on and tilled the land to plant trees on the denuded parts of the province. Different Keepers’ Club Members all over the National Capital Region in the Philippines heed the call and joined the fun of mountain trekking and seedling implanting.

Keepers’ Club Members from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines also joined the activity with their unique green shirts on, signifying the purpose of the activity. Most of these youngsters are first-timers in such activity that they expressed their joy and gratitude to the club for organizing such event. This activity will then potentially published on their school paper and give the club the commendation and the boost!

The activity ended with the cheers and fulfillment from all parties. The participants posed for snaps together with greater big smiles, knowing that they just did not do something for environment, but had been of greater help to help themselves improve and be much more aware of their surroundings. The groups also thanked The Keepers’ Club for bringing young people to such worthwhile activity.
